1.Riding is a risk sport and horses can be unpredictable and may react quickly in some situations. You partake at your own risk.
2. We advise all persons taking part in any equine activity to ensure they have 3rd party personal accident insurance.
3. We allocate horses based on rider experience and suitability. Please be honest regarding your riding ability to ensure we pair you with a suitable horse. Little Hidden Farm have the right to make changes of instructor and horse allocated to the lesson.
4. All clients must NOT approach or mount our horses without supervision and permission from a member of staff.
5. Clients are required to inform Little Hidden Farm of any change to information regarding emergency contact details and general wellbeing.
6. Recommended clothing include full length trousers and boots with a suitable heel and sole. Arms must be fully covered when jumping and vest tops are not permitted when riding.
7. All riders must wear a riding hat that complies with the current Standards. We recommend that clients buy their own helmet that complies with current standards.
8. New riders must arrive 15 mins before the start of their lesson to enable time for hat fitting and general assessment.
9. We reserve the right to refuse a client their lesson if we deem that, in the interests of health and safety, it would not be suitable for the rider to continue. A credit charge of 50% of their lesson price will be incurred.
10. You must give the Riding School a minimum of 24 hrs notice if you want to change or cancel your booking. Failure to give the appropriate notice will incur a credit charge equivalent to 100% of the lesson cost unless a acceptable reason is given, in which case 50% of lesson cost can be charged in credit.
11. Payment for the lesson or ride must be paid upfront at the time of booking using our online booking system. Any late payments will incur an extra charge.
12. Our staff and horses are highly experienced or being mentored and must be treated with a high level of respect. We do not tolerate any form of verbal or physical abuse towards our staff, and we retain the right to request you leave the premises if such behaviour occurs. There are often young children on the yard and we therefore adhere to a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate language or beaviour, and we ask that you respect this at all times for the sake of our staff and other clients.
