What we offer

Beginner Sessions

During your first lesson with us, we will teach you how to mount and dismount safely and conduct yourself around horses. Beginner lessons last for a half hour duration in which we will coach you on the basics of riding. During this session, you will be assessed by one of our instructors. Young children will be required to be on a lead rein and must have a parent or carer present and willing to partake to instill confidence. Our beginner sessions always leave riders smiling and brimming with new found confidence around horses.

Lessons

We run 30 minute and 60 minute group lessons loosely based on age and ability. The lessons are catered to the ability of the class. We ensure that you work with a horse and instructor that suits your goals and level of experience through our grading system. We offer both flatwork, polework and jumping lessons or even a nice hack occasionally. Although lesson type remains at the discretion of our coaches. Lessons are progressed at the pace that suits you.

Pony Days

Pony days are a great way to spend time with our lovely ponies and are tailored specifically for children. We take pride in the fact that our Pony Days allow children to learn about horses in a fun environment. These days involve a range of different activities, both in the saddle and on the ground, which encourage children to understand what it takes to care for a horse. These are done in stable management short sessions on subjects like parts of the pony and many more. they even finish the day with a rosette or certificate to end their day. All you need is a packed lunch and a passion for ponies. Pony days are suitable from ages 4-14 and any ability even if never ridden.

Stable Management

These sessions are suited for anyone who wants to experience behind the scenes in the equine world. Our stable management mornings aim to educate on horse welfare, in a hands-on, practical style. Every stable management morning we run explores a different area of horse welfare and management, headed by our highly experienced team of staff. These stable management mornings are perfect for anyone keen to learn how much more there is to the equine world.

Skills Days

These courses are for our more experienced riders. These courses focus on more specialised areas of riding, with coaching from our instructors who specialise in Dressage, Showjumping or Eventing. We offer both practical and theoretical elements overseen by our coaches, many of whom work hard competing in their own right. These courses are great way to widen your knowledge of equestrianism and even prepare you for the world of competition.

Camps

We do our camps during the summer period. We have different camps depending on age and ability. Its like having your own horse of which during the camps the children learn how to look after their own horse. They have a riding sessions each day consisting on either dressage, showjumping, cross country, road safety and many more. Also they will learn different things you can do with your horse and also demonstrations of aspects the children may not know about. These camps are non residential and start at 9am and will be over 3 or 4 days depending on the camp.

Ground work sessions

We are now offering lessons with a twist. These sessions are learning how to exercise horses without just riding them. These are perfect for people wanting to learn different areas of horse ownership and other ways of bonding with these incredible animals. These can be done in private or semi private sessions.
